The Rev. Dr. Marjorie Duncan Reed, is a native of North Hills; PA, accepted Christ as Savior at the tender age of nine, and has worked in many ministries of the church. She was licensed to preach in July, 1985 and ordained in April, 1989.She is the Pastor of the St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Conshohocken, PA. She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary.
Rev. Dr. Reed has toured the ranks of her spiritual development by serving as both a student, Associate Minister, and served as Interim Pastor at McKinley Memorial Baptist Church. For many years Rev. Dr. Reed served as the Ministry Leader of Associate Ministers for the Suburban Baptist Association of Southeastern PA. She is now serving as Second Vice Moderator of this organization. This is the first time a woman has been elected to serve in the capacity of Moderator in the 96 year history.

Pastor Reed is currently a member of the Baptist Pastors and Ministers Conference of Philadelphia and Vicinity.              She is also a member of the NAACP, Hospice Chaplain for Abington Warminster Hospital and Program Consultant for Dr. Susan Nolte, PhD: Women Empowered Clinical Awareness Research Education for African American Women.
She has been blessed to preach in many churches along the East Coast.She has sailed on the Sea of Galilee, prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, walked the Via de La Rosa, and was baptized in the Jordan River.She recently journeyed to Switzerland, Greece, and Rome where she docked in Turkey and toured Ephesus following the trek of the Apostle Paul and John.Seeing the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel were only a few remarkable visits.
Rev. Dr. Reed retired from Merck & Co., after 22 years working in Human Resources as a Staffing Coordinator.She was married to the late Bro. Charles Reed Sr. for 35 years.She has three children and 5 grandchildren. The 121 st Psalm that her mother suggested that she learn at the tender age of nine, has continued to be her guide.
